All set for winter camp!!!

Spend all weekend buying all kind of material for this week winter camp. Its a big class and all this materials will be used and finish in only 4 days! So many random stuff there, suger, rice and socks...

Strawberry drawing

My student's drawing, done in pencil crayon. As you can see thats not the whole picture, only a corner of it. She took about 2 months to finish the drawing. I will post the whole drawing later. I just love the strawberry part :)

New Animation Table

Got a new animation table for the studio. Its for the animation portfolio class students. I will probaby post some of their work here soon. :)

Monster Monday

Happy Halloween!

We draw and paint pumpkin last week in class. It was fun for the little kids, you got to draw your own expression for each pumpkin. I also love little kid drawing, they are so true and just coming from their heart. Sometime thinking too much is not too good. lol

The first drawing is from a 5 year old boy (Kenny). I love this drawing! Love the expressions on the pumpkins and the ghost is so cool looking. Sooo, I try to re-draw it... and the bottom drawing is what I came up with!!

Monster Monday

Its been awhile there is a monster on Monday! I think the last one was abit before summer. Things got crazy during summer and things got lazy after summer... With Halloween just around the corner,  its the best time to resume Monster Monday!

This monster its just a quick sketch with pencil, but this is not the whole picture!! There another part of it. I will post it on "side B" tomorrow.  Its kind of fit in what I am doing with all the characters on the other side.

Summer Photo

I know its kind of late, but i will be posting some summer camp works now. I dont really have the time post anything during the summer. Summer is only past couple weeks ago, but looking back of my students' work, it since so long ago. It was a long summer....

All the hard works!

This ALL the works we did in one week of summer camp. We did alot in that week, clay, craft, painting and cartooning. I was a crazy week, but see all the art works they did. its all worth it. :)

My work room!

I need to clean up the studio. After the summer, things are just everywhere! This is what insde my office now, it had become a storeroom.... Its going to be painfull to clean up, I didnt even know where to begin...

Summer is over!

Now that summer is over, everything are back to normal!! I will have more time to sleep, instead of 4 hours a day... And I should have more time to post stuff here. I miss drawing.
Of course I will post some photos of the summer camp here.

Been a while..

Hey there, its been over a month since I post. I have been busy with summer camp, basically I work from 9 in the morning till 9 at night. when I got home I have to work on my lesson and other stuffs. The camp have been driving me crazy but alot of good works had came out of it. Its not done yet, i still have about 2 week to go. I will post some summer camp art work tomorrow and hopefully post more in the coming weeks.

10 Drawing in 10 days is back and this time its Dinosaurs!! I always love dinosaurs as a kid and this time its fun to see all the kids drawing all the dinosaurs. They are all from by my students, from ages 5 - 18. and of course I will be drawing one or two, hope you like them.

Monster Monday

Lily painting

Watercolour lily. This is painted by one of my students. She is only 13, i think..lol. and she had been my student since she was 6. It show alot of talent the way she paint and its nice to see how much she improved.

2 Years, 60 monsters and 400 posts!!!!!

Just find out today I've already move my blog here for two years and this is the 400 posts!!! There are 60 monsters in Monster Monday and 12 "10 drawings in 10 days"!!

I never thought of me posting this much. Not to mention I just start another blog, on Side B. I hate writing and cannot write at all, must of the time I dont even know what I was talking about . But I find with the blog, it actually push me to draw more and try different style. I hope everyone learn a thing or two from the artist's work I post. They are all artists that i like and i will post more of their work in the future.

Sometime I think i don't post enough, and some other time I find myself posting too much.... Maybe I just need to spend less time infront of the computer and more time on the drawing table.

Painting flowers

Last week was Mother's Day and for the whole week we paint flowers with watercolour. The kid always love it when we paint. Its interesting how some of them keep their drawings a surprise by hiding it from their moms when they pick them up. Hope all the moms like their surprise :)
