Its been awhile...

Sorry I havent update this blog for awhile now. I have been lazy after the holiday... there is so many thing need to clean up in the studio and at home. I just keep putting it off, lets just say I still have christmas decorations around the studio... I will be updating this blog more often and I want Monster Monday to be back, but I guess I will start putting away the christmas decorations first...

Summer Photo

I know its kind of late, but i will be posting some summer camp works now. I dont really have the time post anything during the summer. Summer is only past couple weeks ago, but looking back of my students' work, it since so long ago. It was a long summer....

Summer is over!

Now that summer is over, everything are back to normal!! I will have more time to sleep, instead of 4 hours a day... And I should have more time to post stuff here. I miss drawing.
Of course I will post some photos of the summer camp here.

Haven't post for awhile, was busy setting up the summer camp and buying material. But don't worry, the dinosaurs are here!!!

2 Years, 60 monsters and 400 posts!!!!!

Just find out today I've already move my blog here for two years and this is the 400 posts!!! There are 60 monsters in Monster Monday and 12 "10 drawings in 10 days"!!

I never thought of me posting this much. Not to mention I just start another blog, on Side B. I hate writing and cannot write at all, must of the time I dont even know what I was talking about . But I find with the blog, it actually push me to draw more and try different style. I hope everyone learn a thing or two from the artist's work I post. They are all artists that i like and i will post more of their work in the future.

Sometime I think i don't post enough, and some other time I find myself posting too much.... Maybe I just need to spend less time infront of the computer and more time on the drawing table.

I went to Ireland couples of week ago. For vacation, I didn't stay for long, 5 days only. It is a very nice place, and a very relaxing stay for me. The food were good and I had alot of Guinness and Irish coffee :)

Back from Vocation!

I took a little vocation last week, and left the studio running with my TA! They did a great job, the studio is still in one piece, lol. Maybe I should take more vocation now!

I went to Ireland! It was a nice place, didn't spend alot of time there, only about 4 days. Did alot of drinking and sightseeing. :) I will post up some photo later.

Back to normal!

Now that summer is over and school just started, thing will all go back to normal. No more working 13 hours straight, no more 2 hours sleep per day, yea for normal! Now I can have more time to draw and update this place a bit more often, or even spent some time with my ps3 :)

Disney acquire Marvel for $4 billion

The Walt Disney Co. says it is acquiring Marvel Entertainment Inc. for $4 billion in cash and stock, bringing characters like Iron Man and Spider-Man into the Disney family.
Under the deal, Disney will acquire ownership of 5,000 Marvel characters.

"This transaction combines Marvel's strong global brand and world-renowned library of characters including Iron Man, Spider-Man, X-Men, Captain America, Fantastic Four and Thor with Disney's creative skills, unparalleled global portfolio of entertainment properties, and a business structure that maximizes the value of creative properties across multiple platforms and territories," said Robert A. Iger, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company. "Ike Perlmutter and his team have done an impressive job of nurturing these properties and have created significant value. We are pleased to bring this talent and these great assets to Disney."

"We believe that adding Marvel to Disney's unique portfolio of brands provides significant opportunities for long-term growth and value creation," Iger said.

"Disney is the perfect home for Marvel's fantastic library of characters given its proven ability to expand content creation and licensing businesses," said Ike Perlmutter, Marvel's Chief Executive Officer. I've busy preparing for the summer camp. just setting up the class, doing poster and flyer, doing the web site and getting material. I am going to be so tired come summer.. :(

Over!

Finally the week is over and its crazy!. The kids is off school and I have March break class running from morning till afternoon and then classes from 4 - 9. I am just Happy that its over. ON top of that, i have 2 deadline to meet. A logo for a company and a illustration for YMCA. I really do need some sleep next week..

March Break begin...

March Break begin and that mean i will be at the studio from 9 in the morning till 8 at night. We will be running a March Break special clay class thru the week , so its going to be a long week for me. I am not really a morning person.... I am sure i will be filling myself with coffee the whole day.

Lazy

I didnt really do anything latey, well, not that i dont HAVE anything to do. I am just very lazy .... I just cant bring myself to get anything done. Well, at least i clean up my office, its not a store room now and I can actually work in it. I still need to design a poster, a logo and business card, pay bills, wash dishes, tidy my workroom and whole lots of other stuff... I guess i better stop blah-ing away in here and get something done...

Sick...

I've been sick lately, well, not a surprise for me, since most of my students are sick, its just a matter of time. Its just not really fun teaching while you don't really have a voice.
Yup, this is such a useless post.

Awesomeness!

Finally took them out of the box and shot some photos. They are Hot Toys Bank robber Joker and Dark knight version Batman. They are not cheap.. AT ALL, but they are well worth it! They make all my other figures look like Fisher Price!! I think i am addicted to Hot Toys now... Iron man is already on its way! I will stop typing and let the photo speak for themself. :)

New Zealand photo

It was a nice trip, its really beautiful there in New Zealand. I spend about 8 day there, probably not enough, cause alot of time is spend on the plane. Well, to start off, it took 20 hour plus to get from here, Toronto, to get to New Zealand, Auckland. And from there I took plane, bus and boat ride to different places. So, in 8 days, I had 8 flights and 2 boat ride and numbers of bus ride. They got me to Auckland, Queenstown, Rotorua, Milford Sound, and other small towns.
