Here it is again, it Shrimps this time. Yes its pretty random and its also very hard to draw. There is only so much you can do with shrimp, and that's the challenge i guess. So for the next 10 day, you will be seeing alot of shrimps. They are drawn by me and other teacher at the studio. hope you like them :)

March Break clay works

Some of the art work from the March Break Clay class. I know, I know, its April and i am still post march stuff... I am just lazy lately. I love the under water clay stuff, they look really colourfull and its fun to make. You will probably see more in the future. :)

Origami Bunny!

We are doing origami this week. Since its Easter, so everyone is folding a bunny. they are everywhere in the studio and i have so make paper cut. I think I can fold them in my sleep now.

Blue Penguin!

One of my students' art work. They were only given two shades of blue and white paint, they have to mix the rest of the colours. Its alway fun to do painitng and i think all of them learn alot from this painting.

Exit sign wars!

Apparently there is a internation war over exit signs. Its between the little running green man and the big red word.

The green sign is developed in the late 1970s by a Japanese designer named Yukio Ota and adopted for international use in 1985. The big red word sign that spell out EXIT is design in the 1970s by the American.

Some say the red sign does not read well, cause it will only understand by people who can read English and red usually mean danger, you would not like to run to something that are dangerous. And the other people say the green one doesn't look like an exit and its showing a person running, and everyone shouldn't run in panic when needed to exit...

I would just put a red exit word under a green running man . There problem solved.

Found this drawing in the studio today. Its probably by one of my students. I like this drawing, it make me happy and want to jump! lol

jon burgerman

Jon Burgerman, one of my favorite artist or doodler! He is a UK artist and you will probably seem his work before, on video games, toy, poster and even shoe. I love his doodle, they are so colourful with simple characters and so detail at the same time. It look really easy to draw, they all just look like crooked line and weird shape... but they are certainly not! (yeah, i tried). You can see all kind of characters with personally and story with all the crazy lines!
