10 Drawing in 10 days is back and this time its Dinosaurs!! I always love dinosaurs as a kid and this time its fun to see all the kids drawing all the dinosaurs. They are all from by my students, from ages 5 - 18. and of course I will be drawing one or two, hope you like them.

Lily painting

Watercolour lily. This is painted by one of my students. She is only 13, i think..lol. and she had been my student since she was 6. It show alot of talent the way she paint and its nice to see how much she improved.

2 Years, 60 monsters and 400 posts!!!!!

Just find out today I've already move my blog here for two years and this is the 400 posts!!! There are 60 monsters in Monster Monday and 12 "10 drawings in 10 days"!!

I never thought of me posting this much. Not to mention I just start another blog, on Side B. I hate writing and cannot write at all, must of the time I dont even know what I was talking about . But I find with the blog, it actually push me to draw more and try different style. I hope everyone learn a thing or two from the artist's work I post. They are all artists that i like and i will post more of their work in the future.

Sometime I think i don't post enough, and some other time I find myself posting too much.... Maybe I just need to spend less time infront of the computer and more time on the drawing table.

Painting flowers

Last week was Mother's Day and for the whole week we paint flowers with watercolour. The kid always love it when we paint. Its interesting how some of them keep their drawings a surprise by hiding it from their moms when they pick them up. Hope all the moms like their surprise :)

Ni Hao, Kai-lan

I have so much work to finish and what I do? I drew Kai-lan....
Recently, I have been watching the show alot. I think Ni Hao, Kai-lan is a very well done animation show for children. I am actually learning chinese from it, a word at a time. New desktop!

Finally got a new desktop for the counter. The old one keep having a mind of his own and shut down on his own and its very noisy. Hopefully this one last longer than the last one.

Monster Monday

Just some quick marker work and abit photoshop here and there. I miss drawing in comic style, I used to draw alot like this, before I draw everything cartoonly. This drawing is not even good. haha. i don't really like it. The black and white area is kind of off. But it was fun to draw! Maybe I will do the next monster in this style too. lol

Underwater Sculpture

The Underwater Sculpture Gallery in Grenada, West Indies is a project started in May 2006 by sculptor Jason Taylor, with the support of the Grenadian Ministry of Tourism and Culture. His sculptures highlight ecological processes whilst exploring the intricate relationships between modern art and the environment. By using sculptures to create artificial reefs, the artist’s interventions promote hope and recovery, and underline our need to understand and protect the natural world.

The sculptures are sited in clear shallow waters to afford easy access by divers, snorkelers and those in glass-bottomed boats. Viewers are invited to discover the beauty of our underwater planet and to appreciate the processes of reef evolution.

I find it really creepy and beautiful at the same time. Other then Jason Taylor creating a very nice sculpt, nature is also a very good artist too.
