A sketch i did sometime ago. It was for a animation studio. Bouncing ball in animation have a special meaning to it. It represent the basic principles of animation. There is more to this drawing, hopfully i can find the rest and i will post it up.

The kid has only 4 fingers.
ReplyDeleteyes, 4 fingers is also an animation thing. Ever notice Mickey Mouse have four fingers too? Its because its easier to draw 4 fingers than 5 fingers. In animation there can be 24 drawing in ONE second! So, less fingers = less time. Time = money....
ReplyDeleteor 12 frames. 12 is easier and still enough to trick the human eye. :)
